A brochure will soon be sent out from the CIEH in the post to members including details of how to renew, membership benefits and an engaging document which highlights some of the CIEH’s achievements in 2015.

Members will be able to save up to £30 if they renew before 29 January via MyCIEH or by completing a Direct Debit form, which will be included in the membership pack and available to download from the CIEH site for the first time.

Catherine Horsfield, Executive Director of Stakeholder Engagement, said that this year the CIEH wanted to highlight to members how the CIEH supports environmental health professionals throughout their careers from new starters making their first steps on the ladder all the way up to established professionals looking at what to do next.

“There are numerous benefits to being a member of the CIEH, such as professional status and recognition, low cost CPD, conferences and training events, as well as information and guidance documents. These are all things that help our members advance their careers and improve their knowledge around the latest environmental health agendas,” said Catherine.

“We are committed to protect, understand and invest in our members wherever you work and whatever stage you are at in your career. We continue to develop our membership offering following feedback our members have provided throughout the year and renewing your membership will not only enable us to provide the guidance to our members that underpins the profession but it also enables the CIEH to campaign on behalf of the environmental health profession to effect changes at the highest levels.”
